Opened in 1968 and known for years as Romney Stadium, the field is named Merlin Olsen Field in honor of the Hall of Fame player, and the venue has seen major renovations over the decades, including a 2015 upgrade that added luxury suites, loge boxes, and covered club seating, along with FieldTurf installed before the 2022 season.
