Each July, Cedar City comes alive with vibrant Independence Day festivities hosted by the local community. Visitors and residents gather along Main Street to watch a traditional morning parade complete with an inspiring helicopter flyover and marching groups. Following the parade, a family friendly festival fills the park with delicious food vendors, local music, and fun activities for all ages.

As the sun sets, the celebration continues at the local airport where residents gather to enjoy a magnificent fireworks display. Viewers can tune into designated radio stations to listen to a synchronized musical soundtrack during the show. This long running tradition brings the community together for a memorable summer holiday experience.
