Empress Theatre is a historic performing arts venue in downtown Magna, Utah. Opened in 1916, it first served local miners as a burlesque venue, later showed silent films and talkies, and closed during the 1950s before being revitalized in 2006 by the nonprofit Oquirrh Hills Performing Arts Alliance.

Today, the 178 seat theater in the round presents musicals, plays and youth productions with an entirely volunteer run operation. Its Neo Classical and Beaux Arts design reflects the building’s long place in Magna’s cultural life, and the venue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
