Best Friends Animal Society works to end the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters, and its roots run deep in Kanab, Utah, where the organization operates the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals on Angel Canyon Road. The sanctuary is part of a broader effort that includes lifesaving programs carried out with a nationwide network of members and partners.
