Chad’s Raspberry Kitchen is a family company that began in 2000 near Bear Lake, named for a young man named Chad who was born with a rare liver disease and required an organ transplant in 1987. After losing his vision the following year from an infection, the company was started as a way to support him and give him meaningful work.

Family Owned Kitchen in Laketown, Utah

Chad gained his independence in 2006 when he received his Seeing Eye dog, Huck, and his parents and younger brother have continued running the company from Laketown ever since. The business remains a family effort rooted in the Bear Lake area of Utah.

Raspberry Jams, Syrups, Salsa and Vinaigrette

Chad’s grows its own raspberries in Bear Lake, where cold nights sweeten the berries, and turns them into small-batch products just a few hundred feet from the field. Favorites include Gourmet Raspberry Vinaigrette, Country Style Raspberry Jam, Warm and Sweet Raspberry Salsa and Gourmet Raspberry Syrup. The Laketown gift shop is open seasonally, and the online store ships year-round.
