Snowbird is a year-round mountain resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon, just minutes up the road from Alta. Skiers and snowboarders come for steep, challenging terrain, about 500 inches of average annual snowfall and roughly 2,500 skiable acres.

The Snowbird Aerial Tram carries riders to the top of Hidden Peak for big views of the Wasatch, and the resort has lodging and dining at its base.
