Ogden City Parks
Ogden City has been a distinguished recipient of the Tree City USA Award for over 30 years and for good reason! More than 40 public parks and over 18 reservable pavilions beneath the gorgeous foliage are available for family reunions, weddings, company parties, and special events. All City parks are open one hour before sunrise and closed one hour after sunset.
These parks offer a variety of beauty and recreation opportunities, including a dog park, all owners must clean up after their animals, and dogs must always be kept on a leash. Over 200 acres of irrigated turf, natural areas, flower beds, and gardens. Baseball and soccer fields, basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts. Walking/ rollerblading, bicycle paths, skateboard facility, and a 9-station fitness course. Swimming pools, a kayak park, fishing streams, and ponds. Outdoor rodeo grounds, amphitheaters, playgrounds, sledding and tubing hills, water features, and concessions.
A reservation is necessary for your event to take place in a specific park location such as a pavilion or gazebo and does not grant exclusive use of the entire park. Access for other park visitors must not be restricted or impeded. Pavilion reservation fees are from $50.00 to $100.00. Groups with events that have more than 200 people or are open to the public or are requesting additional City services must complete a Special
Event Application.

Ogden City Recreation
We offer a variety of youth and adult recreation programs, classes, and year-round events. With two public pools, a recreation center, a senior activity center, a sports complex, and numerous sports fields and courts. There is something for everyone and no one should be bored. The Recreation Department has two offices, the Community Services Building located at 1875 Monroe Blvd and Marshall White Recreation Center at 222 28th St. The office on Monroe Blvd can provide registration for youth and adult sports programs in person or you can register online. For classes and activities that occur at the Marshall White Center, you can register online or at the Marshall White Center.
Ogden City Recreation needs committed, willing community members to help coach our youth: T-ball, baseball, softball, flag football, soccer, and basketball. Volunteer coaches are our program’s greatest assets. A youth sports coach must complete the application procedures and pass a background check. Must be at least 18 years of age. Training will be provided.
Ogden Recreation offers indoor soccer for 3-5-year-olds only, whereas older groups have outdoor soccer offerings that are provided throughout the city by different organizations. Registration can be done online by finding the sport or program using the navigation menu. You will be taken to our online registration manager and asked to create an account or sign in to your existing account.

Parks. Recreation. Not Parks and Rec.
Not all cities manage their departments the same, Ogden City separates Parks and Recreation into two different departments. The Parks Department handles the maintenance of parks, restrooms, playgrounds, pavilions, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. They also take care of the reservation of pavilions at the parks. The Recreation Department handles the maintenance and reservations of ball fields, Marshall White Recreation Center, Golden Hours Senior Center, and Lorin Farr Pool. Recreation personnel manages registrations and coaching staff for organized adult and youth programs, sports, and classes. Time to get out and enjoy our city and all it has to offer!
